چکیده

Objective: Coronavirus-2019 (Covid-19) was first observed in December 2019 and recognized as a pandemic by the World Health Organization. Apart from respiratory symptoms, neurological, dermatological, gastrointestinal symptoms can also occur humans. Some neurological may be caused microembolism. The present study aims to determine presence of microemboli patients with Covid-19 using Transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasonography examine its correlation D-Dimer levels. Material Methods: This involved 20 hospitalized diagnosed Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method. results were recorded analyzed within two groups (First group: < 1 mg/L, second ≥ mg/L). middle cerebral arteries bilaterally examined TCD screen for microemboli. Patients classified into based on number MES (first 0-3 (n=10), 4 MES). Results: Cerebral arterial Covid-19. relationship between emboli investigated, found statistically significant both low value group (p 0.001) high 0.003). Furthermore, higher greater 0.001). Conclusions: Microemboli detected patients, even absence symptoms. Additionally, positive levels Therefore, physicians should assess appropriate treatment methods accordingly.

Frequency of cerebral microembolisms (high intensity transient signals, HITS) in acute myocardial infarction has been reported about 17%. The factors that influence on microembolism after myocardial infarction (MI) are not definitive. Type of MI, Ejection fraction, Hx of Streptokinase is the factors that were...
